Brief

2019 saw Guinness redefining present perceptions of brand through a one-of-a-kind St. Patrick’s Day which honors all Pats and Patricks in Singapore. The campaign culminates in a big street bash where everyone, Irish or not, could party it up with a cold pint.

Solution

We set up various Guinness-themed activations across the venue for festival goers to interact with the brand. Attendees could leave their mark on the The Guinness graffiti wall by sharing their most Pat-tastic moment. For an Instagrammable opportunity, we designed a photowall using Guinness kegs and neon lighting that was very well-received. Limited edition Guinness-branded merchandise were given out to those who posted on Instagram, increasing online engagement.

Guests were entertained with side activities like Vespa tours around the neighborhood, karaoke booths, Scandinavians spas, and Stoutie machines (to print selfies on pints!). Another highlight were the 8 F&B vendors that all featured a “Guinness” special on the menu. Masterclasses and pouring workshops saw full attendance, where participants could appreciate the creamy frothy drink with comforting dishes or learn how to pour the perfect pint.
